Our History:
Jen's Cookies, Cakes and More, Inc. was founded in 2009 by Jennifer Weiss.
Located in the quaint town of Warwick, NY, Jen's Cookies, Cakes and More is the result of a combination of a passion for baking and a mother's desire to work in a flexible environment.
Since childhood, Jen has always enjoyed baking. Whether it was baking alongside her mother as a child or baking for family and friends as a teenager, Jen has always found pleasure in baking. As this passion continued to develop through the years, she found particular enjoyment in creating her own recipes, experimenting with different flavor combinations and textures until she had built something she was satisfied with. These creations are now the backbone of our business.
All of the recipes at Jen's Cookies, Cakes and More are either Jen's own creations or family recipes which have been passed down through the years.
A paralegal by trade, Jen left the full-time work force upon the birth of her daughter in 1998. As her daughter grew and as her son arrived in 2005, Jen continued to bake, finding particular pleasure in creating and giving baked gifts to family, friends and local professionals for holidays and sometimes just to say "thank you". Positive feedback and encouragement about the quality of her baking is what convinced Jen that she could turn her passion and hobby into a successful business.
